Starry Eyed Dreams

Description

Inspired by "Starry Eyed Dreams" by LimeAttack. It's one of the cutest and most inspirational fics I've read to date, a short story about how Rainbow Dash reveals to Twilight her dream of being the first (non-alicorn) pony to visit the moon.

Big thanks to =RainbowDashie and =Infinitoa for their help and feedback! *hugs*

(I know someone will say it, but I didn't forget her tail - it's tucked into her space suit, otherwise it'd either freeze in the cold of space or catch fire from the rocket's exhaust. Also, the flag was traced, but the rest of the image is 100% original.)

I started out thinking, oh this has already been done like a million times, and from what I can see... that is actually not the case. I see one thing of Luna doing a Lunar landing, but this is actually more original than I initially thought.

Overall is pretty awesome. The outlines on the space helmet and hind legs look a little askew when you zoom in, but I think that is 99% a problem with the display and not an actual error, since they appear to be perfect when zoomed out.

I thought the way you kept the Equestrian flag shape was pretty interesting, most people would have probably drawn it on a rectangle.

It could have a had a bit more in the background (e.g. a Lunar Lander, or a crater) which would have made the background of the surface a bit more interesting, although the surface of the moon does look boring in real life.

When I zoomed in and saw that the stars were all different colors, I was like "OMG that's amazing" I didn't notice until I zoomed in, but yeah that is super realistic.

The only issue for me was mostly one of design engineering, that the jetpack looks kinda like a missile, and not a space jet pack. It is sort of not the right shape, and has fins which aren't useful without an atmosphere.

Other than that, amazing job it was awesome, and most of the problems were probably formatting/display nonsense which happen to me too, and I can't think of anything you can really do about them (sometimes the file type can affect this though, e.g. png vs jpg vs gif).
